TriFoil’s InSyTeTM Series provides
Radioisotope-free, 3D molecular imaging

Benchtop imaging series which offers 3D complete angle fluorescence tomography (FLECT™) together with CT in an easy to use package.

The systems can be configured with FLECT™ and CT or CT alone.

Each has a simple, consistent user-friendly interface for image reconstruction and co-registration.

What is Fluorescence Emission Computed Tomography (FLECT™)?

FLECT™ technology utilizes complete angle tomography in a preclinical optical imaging system. The system acquires fluorescence data from specific molecular markers in 360° utilising a ring of detectors around the mouse. The fluorescence is then reconstructed in 3D using a computational reconstruction algorithm that models light propagation in tissue such that the molecular markers can be correctly visualized within the target tissue. The data is analogous to that generated by PET or SPECT systems, without the use of radioisotopes.
